Deliberations hit day seven
KANSAS CITY, Kan. --- A U.S. District Court jury of 10 women and two men deliberated for a sixth day Wednesday without reaching a verdict in the trial of former Westar Energy executives David Wittig and Douglas Lake. Wittig and Lake are charged with looting the utility and are on trial for the second time on the charges.
