Summary
One of the most touching and meaningful moments in clearing out my parents' home was running across a box of old letters.
Slowly going through each correspondence saved not only takes me back in my own history, but also takes me back into the history of generations before me. Seeing my grandfather's fancy handwriting feels like having him sitting with me again.
