Something important may be getting lost as our elected leaders in Washington, D.C., jump almost weekly from crisis to crisis and bailout plan to bailout plan in attempts to keep a bad economy from total collapse.
We aren't doubting the seriousness of the country's problems, or the sincerity with which Congress, President Bush and even President- elect Barack Obama are currently attacking them.
