Darrell Keefover has not been keeping abreast of the news. Teaching creationism -- new world, old world, intelligent design, whatever you want to call it -- in the public schools has been declared unconstitutional in Louisiana, Arkansas and, most recently and most emphatically, in Pennsylvania.
If he wants our children to learn about the possibility God created all things and about the ability to communicate with him in prayer -- as he stated in his letter of Aug. 20 -- he should be urging parents to take their children to church or teach them in their own homes.See the full content of this document
