A friend whom I share a common bond of lifelong learning recently shared with me information about a study by scholars at Columbia University. The study finds blacks with high levels of education and income are more likely to report being victims of racial discrimination.
Upon reading this title and a brief abstract, I immediately was questioning why. So, I thought I'd contact the lead researcher and author, Dr. Luisa Borrell, assistant professor of epidemiology at Columbia University via e-mail. Borrell holds a professional dentistry degree, a master's degree in public health and a doctorate degree in epidemiology science.
