Reilly Knows He Needs to Take It Up a Notch at Relays

LAWRENCE --- Hayden senior Adam Reilly had a great day last Friday in the K.T. Woodman Classic in Wichita, clocking the state's second-fastest times in the 800 and 1,600-meter runs.

What that performance did for Reilly is show him that he can still go a lot faster.

In fact, he knows he'll have to go faster if he is to challenge for victory in this weekend's Kansas Relays at Memorial Stadium.

"The way I feel in some of these half-miles and miles, I know I have a whole other gear," Reilly said.

The highlight of the Woodman meet for Reilly was his 1:57.58 clocking in the 800.
