When I became a grandmother, I wanted to leave my grandchildren with a message that came in the form of a song. I hoped to teach them words that would always linger in their minds, resulting in joy and happiness when they heard the song.

I found such a song and began to teach it by singing it diligently to them each time I visited them or they would visit me. That song is "This is the day that the Lord has made." It says, "Let us rejoice and be glad in it." After such a historical presidential election, the words to the song resonate even more with me.
