Amid a controversy over the use of mail ballots in Shawnee County, a Kansas House-Senate conference committee on Thursday considered a bill designed to help keep better track of mail ballots that third parties deliver to elections offices.
The committee was expected to continue meeting into the night to discuss the bill.
