Week 23 -- The older athlete. Or even, the person who is older who wouldn't consider themselves an athlete but is interested in beginning or maintaining a fitness program. I hate to try to define old age. I've seen 80-year-olds who were as active, if not more, than me, and I've seen 50-year-olds who were already lying on the couch everyday and unwilling to enjoy an active life. So, who's older?

If you've put your time in on this good earth, how active could and should you be? Since you've retired, should you retire from your workouts? Absolutely not! In fact, fitness is probably even more important to the 60-plus population than any other.
