You might remember my tale about my black Labrador retriever, Magnum (Sunday, Great Outdoors 6-13-10 "Farewell, Faithful Friend.") After 12 wonderful years together I had to send him off to his final resting place last June.

It was an extremely emotional time and his loss still saddens me to this day. However, it was a bit tempered by the fact I would soon pick up one of his offspring and hope he would carry Magnum's legacy.
