Some parenting moments are bittersweet, others are just sweet. This past Monday I experienced a sweet parenting moment as I watched my youngest son Joshua earn his varsity letter in swimming from Lawrence High School.

Having the knowledge of how much this accomplishment would mean to him and knowing how hard he worked to achieve it made it special for both of us.
