At first blush, making curbside recycling available to residents who would use the service sounds like a good idea and we support the Shawnee County Commission's decision to explore it, and the caution with which commissioners are approaching the issue.
If that doesn't exactly sound like a full-fledged endorsement of the curbside recycling proposal floated Monday by county refuse and recycling director Steve Bolton, it's because we aren't offering one now.
