Summary


If approved, four zoning changes for vacant lots that the city of Topeka's governing body considers next week would put the city on the verge of doing away with its "E District" zoning designation, which has been on the road to elimination since 1992.

The governing body plans Tuesday to consider changing zoning designations from "E Multiple-Family Dwelling District" to "O&I-2 Office and Institutional District" for vacant lots at 1270 S.W. Topeka Blvd., 1526 and 1530 S.W. Topeka Blvd., 1600 S.W. Topeka Blvd., and 1607 S.W. Topeka Blvd.
