If approved, four zoning changes for vacant lots that the city of Topeka's governing body considers next week would put the city on the verge of doing away with its "E District" zoning designation, which has been on the road to elimination since 1992.
The governing body plans Tuesday to consider changing zoning designations from "E Multiple-Family Dwelling District" to "O&I-2 Office and Institutional District" for vacant lots at 1270 S.W.
