This is the season when we're continuously exposed to the policies and procedures of department stores, grocery stores and various types of retail businesses. This is also the season when we begin to see a deterioration of courtesy and customer service. In fact, many times it seems like the more we pay, the less we get when it comes to product satisfaction and customer service.
Some retail companies selling technology, such as computers, digital cameras, camcorders and prints, seem to think they have a license to ignore their responsibility to its customers in standing by their product. For instance, there are some technology retail stores that actually charge you should you return their product within a reasonable time frame, even if based upon a legitimate system malfunction.
